Toby Stephens plays Captain Flint, a former Naval officer who was disgraced and betrayed. Stephens was born in London, England and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He appeared in 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and And Then There Were None for the BBC. You may recognize him from Vexed (BBC), Robin Hood (BBC), Wired (ITV) and The Machine, opposite Caity Lotz.

Black Sails cast member Hannah New plays Eleanor Guthrie. Eleanor was exiled from her home and sentenced to hang. She was granted an opportunity to return to Nassau in the service of its new governor.
Born in London, England, New joined The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain as a young woman. Her interest in other cultures led her to travel around the world, including to Bolivia where she did volunteer work in children’s homes. When she returned to England, she attended Leeds University majoring in English and Spanish and performing in stage productions. She also attended London University’s Central School of Speech and Drama.
After graduation, Hannah landed her first American role as one of the leads in Shelter, a pilot for Warner Bros. and the CW that was produced by J.J. Abrams. She was then cast as Leila, Princess Aurora’s mother, in Walt Disney Pictures’ Maleficent.

Luke Arnold plays John Silver, the beloved and respected quartermaster of Flint’s crew. But when Flint’s campaign of terror crosses over into madness, it falls to Silver to locate the man within the monster, before it’s too late.
Luke Arnold graduated from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He was awarded runner-up of the 2011 Australians in Film (AiF) Heath Ledger Scholarship. You might recognize him from The Tunnel, which premiered at Screamfest, and Murder in the Dark. On TV, he’s appeared in The Pacific, Winners and Losers and Lowdown.

Jessica Parker Kennedy
With Eleanor exiled, Max is now the connection between the pirates and the street, which gives her great power and influence.
You might recognize Kennedy from The Perfect Guy, opposite Michael Ealy and Sanaa Lathan. She also had a recurring role on the final season of the CW’s 90210 and starred in the CW series The Secret Circle as an
elite New England student who comes to realize that she is a witch. She also appeared in 50/50, with Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Black Sails cast member Tom Hopper plays Billy Bones, who is still mistrustful of his own leadership. He sets aside his feelings for the sake of his crew’s survival.
In 2015, Tom Hopper starred in the independent film Northmen: A Viking Saga, directed by Claudio Fah. Tom Hopper began his acting career at the acclaimed drama school, Rose Bruford.

Toby Schmitz’s character on Black Sails is Jack Rackham. Thanks to sitting atop a fortune in Spanish gold, Rackham is finally in a position to win friends, secure his reputation and preserve Nassau for the ages.
Schmitz is another Australian. He briefly studied law at the University of Western Australia while performing
stand-up comedy. He graduated from the acting course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He’s an accomplished stage actor, most recently performing in Andrew Upton’s The Present alongside Cate Blanchett.

Clara Paget plays Anne Bonny, who is caught between her partnership with Rackham, and her love for Max. But when upheaval on the island forces unpleasant truths to the surface, Bonny must choose once and for all where and with whom she belongs.
Paget was born in London. Clara started modeling after being talent spotted at a birthday party dressed as Marlene Dietrich. Clara was most recently seen on the big screen in The Fast and The Furious 6 as Vegh.
